Acupuncture

Acupuncture works by stimulating the body's natural healing responses and immune system to heal the damage caused by illness. During the acupuncture, very fine needles are inserted into specific Acu-points lie on the meridian (a network of pathway in the human body). This will then stimulate vital energy (Qi) in the meridian to re-establish the process of energetic disharmony caused by ailments; it can also regulated and harmonise the function of the organs, balancing Yin and Yang of the body to restore health and vitality. £50.00 per session.

Chinese Herbs

Chinese herbal therapy uses natural plants for helping a wide range of illness. Each of the herbs has its own properties and specific medical usage to help different sickness, rectifying the hyperactivity or hypo-activity of Yin and Yang, as well as strengthen the immune system to help restore the body to its normal physiological functions. After consultation with the TCM doctor, the certain combination of the herbs will be prescribed for each individual case. Herbal medicine is now available in many forms, including loose herbs, powders and capsules.

Cupping
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a local suction is created on the skin; practitioners believe this mobilizes blood flow in order to promote healing. Suction is created using heat (fire) or mechanical devices (hand or electrical pumps).
Acupressure, Massage, Tuina

Chinese therapeutic massage is also called Tui Na. Following the acupuncture theory, using manipulative movements and varying degrees of pressure on certain points to improve the flow of energy. It has a similar effect to acupuncture but using hands rather than needles. The combined use of both massage and acupuncture will often achieve the best results for helping pains and aches.
